About Me

I'm Elisabeth, the jewellery designer and CAD specialist behind Lis B Design.

I've worked in the jewellery industry since 2008, with experience spanning jewellery design, CAD, bespoke commissions and digital manufacturing. I started using jewellery CAD early in my career, creating designs for customers and working alongside jewellers and the workshop to turn those ideas into finished pieces.

I later spent several years working in dental CAD and digital manufacturing, where I gained further experience in 3D scanning, printing and production, before establishing Lis B Design in 2019.

That combination of jewellery design, technical CAD and manufacturing experience shapes how I work today. I'm not just looking at how a model works on screen — I consider the gemstones, settings, proportions, construction and how the finished piece will be made.

Today I work independently with jewellers and designers, providing flexible CAD support for everything from stone-set and fitted rings to remodelling, bespoke commissions and more unusual or complex designs.

About Lis

My passion for design started as a child often turning my hand to anything crafty or creative. When I took my first jewellery elective at art college I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be involved in this trade my next step was to learn more.

Originally looking for a place on the bench, I started my career in the trade over 15 years ago as a sales assistant. After bugging the boss, constantly asking questions about CAD, I was sent on a course and my digital design journey began!
